This is the story of Cass, Virgil, and Malcolm. Cass is a 29-year-old predictive analyst who, in her youth, was an emotional child with premonitions. Following the tragic loss of her boyfriend in college, Cass loses her gift of second sight and resigns herself to a life of emotional invulnerability. But her sixth sense reawakens when meeting Virgil, a puckish cartographer who makes maps to places that don’t exist, and his friend, Malcolm, a rabble-rousing octogenarian who wants to return in time before he dies.
